Levi’s Vintage Clothing 1976 Mirrored 501 jeans

Inspired by a small amount of deadstock 1970s Cone Mills denim, the left-hand twill Levi’s Vintage Clothing 1976 Mirrored 501 jeans stands out. Everything about this pair of jeans is mirrored, from the construction of the jeans to the backwards writing on the rivets. The red tag is placed on the left back pocket instead of the right and the backwards written patch is constructed on the left.

Levi’s is traditionally known for using only right-hand twill. When Levi’s decided to produce a batch of jeans from Vintage Cone Mills deadstock fabric, they find out that the fabric was a left-hard twill. Instead of returning the fabric, they decided to use this ‘mirrored’ fabric and extend this idea into every detail. The result is an extraordinary pair of jeans, unfortunately, limited to only 501 pieces.

The Levi’sVintage Clothing 1976 Mirrored 501 jeans is available at Cultizm.
