Nudie Jeans x De Rode Winkel – 180th Anniversary
The Rode Winkel in Utrecht, the Netherlands, teamed up with Nudie Jeans to celebrate their 180th anniversary. Together they designed a special 13.5 oz. Grim Tim, limited to only 26 pairs.
The Rode Winkel, established in 1834, is one of the oldest denim stores in the Netherlands. Their long history combined with passion is what makes them true jeans specialists. Levi’s, Naked & Famous and Lee, are just a few brands inside their huge collection. The Rode Winkel is recently renovated to emphasize jeans even more. On Friday April 21st, there was a big party to celebrate their reopening.
The jeans is cut in a slim regular fit and features the Nudie Jeans signature orange thread. The fabric is made of 100% organic cotton and manufactured in Japan and the jeans itself is cut and sewn in Italy. The slubby yarn is tightly woven into a right hand twill. To give even more attention to the 180th birthday of the Rode Winkel, the jeans features a red belt loop, 2 red rivets and a red button, which together forms the number ‘180’.
The Nudie Jeans X De Rode Winkel jeans is only available at the Rode Winkel and since this pair of jeans is limited to only 26 pairs, you have to act fast!
