I live in a small town in the south of Sweden with my wife, kid and two dogs (Staffordshire Bullterrier). I enjoy running and prefer adventurous trails in the mountains. There are no mountains where I live so I consequently don’t get to experience that very often. The best run that I’ve done was a 50-kilometre race in Transylvania. It started early in the morning and my goal was to finish before sunset because that is when the bears come out. I managed and had 30 minutes to spare.

I’m a vegetarian and my preferred food is burgers, chili and bears. No, you don’t have to use meat in order to get a good burger. It was the only thing that kept me from becoming a vegetarian and once I was served a really good vegetarian burger I ran out of reasons to decline one. And chili. You should have chili on everything. This year I have started to grow my own and I’ve harvested twice from my Aji Lemon drops and I’m eagerly waiting for my Jamaican Hot Chocolate to ripen.

  1. Why do you share your outfits? And why Instagram?

I started sharing on Instagram when I entered the Denim World Championship because I needed an easy way of documenting the progress. Instagram was the perfect place for this with the added benefit of interaction with other denim enthusiasts.

  1. What makes your Instagram feed so special?

I always wear my denim as hardcore as I can but I never trash them. I often repair and retire the jeans when there are holes. Normally, I only post denim pictures but occasionally something more personal slips by.

 3. Where does your inspiration come from?

From my colleague and friend @nizzel55x. He is my source of all the denim stuff. I also follow @stu.cuts.hair and show this to my barber to make sure I get the right haircut.

 4. Where does your love for denim come from? When did it start?

My love for denim started when Nudie Jeans became a popular brand in Sweden. In the beginning, I only wore pre-washed Thin Finn’s but after a pay check I felt a little rich and bought the Dry Selvage. This was the first time I saw my own fades evolve and it got me hooked.

5. Your top 3 favorite (denim)brands?

Nudie Jeans – Nudie is the brand that started things off for me. They have evolved into a brand that really cares about the entire life of their denim by offering free repairs.

Iron Heart – I wore a pair of Iron Heart 18oz Indigo/Indigo Devil’s Fit for the Denim World Championship and I really love that fit and how they evolved.

Nifty Jeans – I like enthusiasts trying to learn and perfect a craft and there is a such a store close to me. It is called Nifty Jeans and they will do custom jeans and you have a good selection of denim to choose from. They are also doing all the repair work on my denim.

 6. What is your favorite accessory?

Two poker chips in my coin pocket. It’s a silly thing but after a poker game which I had hosted for my friends, I found two chips after we had cleaned everything. Instead of putting them in the box with all the others, I put them in the coin pocket. I forgot about them until I washed my jeans a couple of months later and liked the fade pattern that it made so now I always have two chips in the coin pocket.

 7.  Which items do you wear most at the moment?

Kinda Special jeans from Roy. I bought them just before the Denim World Championship so I had to put them on hold for two years.

 8. What is your favorite shop? And what is your favorite webstore?

Favorite shop is Hepcat in my hometown. Being built in an old garage which gives it a very nice look. It started as part of a Swing dancing and Retro culture association called HepTown and that really shows the diversity of what you can buy in the store. Music, clothes and occasionally you can get a haircut as well.

9. Do you care about the production process?

Yes. The production of my purchases should affect the rest of the world as little as possible.

10. What are your dreams for the future?

A new pair of jeans from Nifty for the 2017-2019 Denim Championship
