BLUEZONE Seen Through the Eyes of the Mills
With BLUEZONE NEXUS coming up in just a few weeks, the organizers announced a huge change in the shows’ structure. Rather than running as an independent event alongside its parent company, Munich Fabric Start, BLUEZONE will now be fully integrated into the main event. While it will share the same venue, BLUEZONE will continue to preserve its unique identity and culture within the larger framework.
As the show approaches, we had a conversation with BLUEZONE’s new Managing Director, Florian Klinder. When asked how exhibitors have responded to the integration of BLUEZONE into Munich Fabric Start, he replied:
“The response has been mainly positive. Naturally, any change raises questions, but once we shared our vision—preserving BLUEZONE’s DNA while creating new opportunities—most partners immediately saw the added value. Many welcome the improved logistics and broader visibility. The industry is evolving, and our stakeholders understand that we’re evolving with it, not moving away from what makes BLUEZONE special” – Florian Klinder.
As BLUEZONE’s integration into Munich Fabric Start is an interesting move, we reached out to some of BLUEZONE’s headline exhibitors to ask them what they think of BLUEZONE’S integration into Munich Fabric Start.

BOSSA
As one of BLUEZONE’s key exhibitors, Bossa sees the show as one of the most authentic and influential platforms in the denim industry. To them, BLUEZONE is more than just a trade show; it’s a place where the global denim community gathers to exchange ideas, discover trends, and inspire each other. BLUEZONE offers a valuable opportunity to showcase their innovations, connect with visionary partners, and stay aligned with the industry’s creative and responsible direction.
When we contacted BOSSA’s Sales and Marketing Chief, Özge Öszoy, to ask her about BLUEZONE’s integration into Munich Fabric Start, she was optimistic about the change:
“We see this integration as a forward-thinking and strategic step that allows us to reach a wider and more diverse audience. It brings us into contact with designers, brands, and sourcing teams who may not usually visit denim-focused areas. As a company that controls the full production process from yarn to finished fabric, and places sustainability and innovation at the core of our work, this broader exposure helps us demonstrate how denim can adapt to multiple segments while maintaining its authenticity” – Özge Öszoy.
At NEXUS, Bossa will present its Fall/Winter 2026/27 collection, featuring rich new cast variations, a nostalgic three-generation concept, surface innovations like chalk and leather finishes, brushed non-denim and wool blends, and fiber-forward materials like Saxcell and TENCEL™ Modal—concepts which are showing how denim can evolve while staying true to its roots.
You can find BOSSA at BLUEZONE NEXUS, stand D28 in Hall 2, or you can visit their website for more details.

ORTA
As one of BLUEZONE’s core exhibitors, ORTA sees the show as an essential gathering for the denim industry. The show is especially valuable for connecting with Central European partners who share ORTA’s commitment to quality, innovation, and responsibility. BLUEZONE offers space to share new developments, exchange ideas, and spark collaborations. It’s where ideas flow, collaborations begin, and denim’s future takes shape, and ORTA is always excited to be part of that energy.
We spoke with Sebla Önder, ORTA’s Marketing and Sustainability Manager, to hear her thoughts on BLUEZONE’s integration into MFS. She was excited about the increased visibility and connective power that the change will create:
“It’s definitely a big shift, but we’re curious and open to it. BLUEZONE has always had its own unique energy, so seeing it become part of the bigger Munich Fabric Start scene will be a new experience. For us, the integration opens up more doors. It means more visibility, a wider audience, and the chance to connect with people from different corners of the textile world we might not normally cross paths with. It also makes it easier for visitors to explore everything in one place, which is a win for everyone. If it helps spark fresh connections and brings the denim and textile worlds even closer, that’s a win. As long as the denim spirit stays strong, we’re excited to see where it goes.” – Sebla Önder.
At NEXUS, ORTA will showcase its AW26/27 collection, LONDON CALLING, which draws inspiration from iconic British fashion eras. From the rustic elegance of the English countryside to the rebellious spirit of Swinging London, ORTA’s LONDON CALLING is celebrating timeless Britcore styles with a fresh twist.

SHARABATI
As a key BLUEZONE exhibitor, SHARABATI has always valued the efficiency of the exhibition. The show facilitates meaningful interactions with customers (unlike other shows, where the main focus tends to be PR). At BLUEZONE, the team is able to sit and discuss as if it were an “in-house meeting.” SHARABATI sees the show as a local German exhibition where most of their key customers can be reached within just two days.
Speaking about BLUEZONE’s integration into Munich Fabric Start, SHARABATI’s Sales & Marketing Director, Alessandro Moretti Ciacci, said:
“We believe we will lose the “Bluezone” atmosphere, but cannot say it till we try. Very important is what our customers will feel about it. The organization of such change will be important to avoid such feelings. At the moment, I see no benefit. I do not think we will have more visitors at the stand simply by being together with the rest of the non-denim world. Still, again, the future will speak.” – Alessandro Moretti Ciacci.
At BLUEZONE NEXUS, SHARABATI will be presenting three core concepts, Verso, Good Ole, and Coolr, concepts which evolved with innovative designs tailored to meet the specific needs of leading fashion brands. Verso features polished, comfortable fabrics for a modern denim experience, Good Ole reinterprets vintage denim with authentic textures, and Coolr celebrates fearless self-expression beyond tradition. Visitors can also explore SHARABATI’s new Twillis collection, along with four versatile concepts crafted to highlight tailored, essential, fluid, and workwear styles.

TEJIDOS ROYO
As one of BLUEZONE’s long-time exhibitors, TEJIDOS ROYO sees the show as one of the most important gatherings for the denim industry. BLUEZONE is a great place to meet with key clients, to explore new trends, and to present their latest collections.
Regarding BLUEZONE’s integration into MFS, TEJIDOS ROYO’s President, Jose Royo, shared his perspective:
“It’s an interesting move that could help connect different parts of the show more easily. We hope it brings a more dynamic and integrated experience for everyone involved. Being located in one of the main halls, we anticipate greater visibility and accessibility. This setting will make it easier to engage with partners and visitors.” – Jose Royo.
TEJIDOS ROYO is expanding its range of recycled fabrics, including both denim and piece-dyed (PTD) options. They will present their latest innovations at BLUEZONE NEXUS, including their 100% recycled pre-consumer cotton denim, crafted using Dry Indigo® technology—an innovative water-free indigo dyeing process. Visitors will also find recycled versions of some of TEJIDOS ROYO’s best-selling fabrics. Committed to circular textiles, TEJIDOS ROYO aims to make sustainable practices the industry standard by 2030.
You can visit TEJIDOS ROYO at BLUEZONE NEXUS, Stand C12 in Hall 2. For more information, visit their website.

ISKO
As one of the spotlight exhibitors, ISKO says that BLUEZONE has always been more than just a trade show; it serves as a meeting point for the global denim community. It is a space where customers, peers, and partners can have meaningful conversations and share ideas. For ISKO, the value lies as much in the exchange of knowledge as in presenting its collections. BLUEZONE helps keep the denim industry connected, inspired, and moving forward.
On the topic of BLUEZONE’s integration into Munich Fabric Start, Marco Lucietti, ISKO’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, said they trust BLUEZONE’s organizers:
“We’ve been working with the BLUEZONE team for many years, and we trust their vision. Integrating into Munich Fabric Start feels like a natural evolution. It creates a stronger platform for the denim sector within the wider textile conversation, which is important because our industry doesn’t exist in isolation. Buyers who may have come to Munich Fabric Start for other product categories can now discover denim innovation more easily, and that opens new opportunities.
“It gives us access to a broader audience while still keeping the tight-knit, authentic denim community that BLUEZONE is known for. For us, it’s about building bridges and connecting with new customers without losing the close relationships we’ve built over the years. It’s a smart move that reflects the reality of how brands are sourcing today, with denim being part of a bigger, interconnected material story” – Marco Lucietti.
ISKO will be presenting its latest collections alongside RECODE Denim, the company’s technology platform that combines circular design principles with advanced performance and durability. RECODE Denim is developed in collaboration with RE&UP to integrate high-quality recycled fibers and to build solutions that help brands future-proof their collections in a rapidly changing market.

We reached out to six of BLUEZONE’S key exhibitors with a series of questions, and all but one of them replied. Their detailed answers to our questions highlight BLUEZONE’s significant value for the industry and its ability to functioning both as a key meeting point and a trade show. While most see BLUEZONE’s integration as an opportunity and a step forward, some are less than certain the integration is a step in the right direction. As Alessandro Moretti Ciacci said, “The future will speak.”
BLUEZONE NEXUS is just around the corner. The show will, without a doubt, be an interesting and even a pivotal one. We are looking forward to the show with great curiosity, and we firmly believe that the organization of BLUEZONE will be able to create a buzz at Munich Fabric Start while maintaining BLUEZONE’s signature denim-centric atmosphere.
