When we launched Realign Denim a few years ago, our vision was clear: crafting jeans following traditional Japanese craftsmanship, yet designing each pair with a modern focus on comfort, wearability, and durability. We aimed to create jeans of the highest quality, and in order to achieve this, we partnered with some of Japan’s finest factories and fabric suppliers.
Since our establishment in 2021, we have been slowly and carefully building the brand – an interesting journey involving dozens of passionate and visionary Japanese craftsmen.
Rather than chasing seasonal trends, we release jeans only after a long and careful process of development. We release each new pair when the timing feels right but, more importantly, we release them when we feel they are fully ready. We never hurry or rush Realign pairs to market; our goal is simply to create some of the world’s best jeans. This takes time and patience.
This season, we are continuing our focus on Realign’s most popular silhouette: Regular Kenji. Regular Kenji, which blends denim heritage and contemporary taste, has been in high demand both online and in stores since its first release. Realign Denim debuted its Regular Kenji silhouette in late 2022, and it quickly became the brand’s most popular fit. This unique fabric reminds us of the early days of Japanese denim and draws both hand and eye thanks to its eye-catching pink selvedge line, hairy and structured surface, and its beautifully deep and dark blue color with a gray cast. The perfect mid-weight denim, it is primed for comfortable wear from day one and for beautiful all-over fades.
